Hey,

Currently NE 12-14, and forecast to strengthen. I'm leaving the office now, be there about 1:30. Tomorrow is forecast to be even better, NE 15-20. Sunday NE 15. Today will be a good tune up. Oh boy, first blow of the season.

Hey,

I got to lake around 2:30. It was really nice to get back out on the water, even it the wind wasn't as strong as I'd hoped. I was on my Phoenix with an 8.5. Never got close to planning, but did practice a lot of light wind manuvers. I was surprised I wasn't as rusty as I thought after close to three months of not sailing.

While I was rigging a lady passed by and mentioned that it was pretty windy earlier. I know at 11:30 when I decided to leave, the pine trees outside my window near Hartsfield were moving a lot, looked like the 14 they reported was about right. Guess I missed the best stuff, always my luck.

Also in attendance were Jim, Al, and Mark, with 9.3, 6.6'ish, and 8.8 respectively. At least I wasn't a loner. Al was using my old Alpha longboard that I sold him last year and he's doing really great with it. Nice jibes and tacks. I felt a little nostalgic seeing him on it. Reminded me of myself a couple years ago.

Forecast still looks good for NE 10-15 tomorrow. Looks to peak in the afternoon, but most old timers say that E-NE winds blow best in the morning and peters out in the afternoon. Come early-stay late may be the call. Might even be a good 10.8 day too. I'd certainly like to see it. Maybe you could sell advertising space?
