Galts Friday 4/14

For anyone who did not make it to Galts Friday, dont feel like you missed anything. Except maybe PWC's, fishing boats, speed boats and beach comers. Wind 10-20? Ha! I never saw more than 8mph and that was one gust in 1 hr of sailing. Hope it was better for you guys at the washing machine (Lanier).

Easter weekend is going to be packed at Galts. If any wind shows up I am going to Sweetwater.

Ditto for Lanier, but not so crowded today, tomorrow, count on it. And if you think PWC's are a pain, how about one with David Wade on it (just kidding.)

They are calling for wind tomorrow, if anyone's thinking about coming to Van Pugh, you may want to come early or late.

I sailed vp Friday & had a good session. Usually I woul downplay the importance of equipment, but yesterday it made a difference - 20 yr. old mistral Superlight, 22yr. old NP 7.0 on an aluminum mast - just right.
