It didnt really blow Friday, but today is looking good. Forecast is still good and it's already blowing some. I plan on heading to Van Pugh fairly early, around 10:30, and make a day of it.

Also, (I'm having a hard time posting new post so...) the Starboard Rio's price has been reduced to $450 and the Starboard Free Formula is no longer available.

Saturday... what can I say. Probably should have rigged a touch bigger for the lulls but just fine for the gusts. 5.3 and 97 liter board. What sweetness with warm water.

Sailed from Sunrise since it was closer to where my gear was. Had to tack a couple times upwind but easy access and mellow locals.

Crazy that in May, I've had a 5.7 and 5.3 sessions on consecutive weekends. Who saw that coming?

Saturday at Van Pugh was crowded, WITH WINDSURFERS. Probably 15 to 20 windsurfers, W/NW wind building thru the day, warm, pretty nice day. Sail sizes from around 8.5 down to 5.5, I started with my 7.5 in the morning and ended on a way powered up 6.0 in the afternoon. The wind was alittle gusty at times and there was alot of messed up chop from all the boat traffic. But pretty nice day, great to see so many Windsurfers!
