Marcel, Chris, Emilio and I met at Van Pugh for a nice afternoon on Lanier. When we arrived at 1PM the wind dropped, but within 15 minutes picked back up from the NW. Marcel & I went out on 8.4 meter sails, but the wind was stronger than it looked and soon picked up, so I rigged a 6.7 sail. Emilio used a 14 meter kite. Chris stayed with a 6.o meter sail all afternoon. It was warm enough without a hood - good for January. Emilio did great in the steady breeze and was able to sail upwind from the launch. We alll had a fun day.
