Free windsurfers that changed the world

I'll never use these again, though they gave a many a great days. Mistral Race Board Equipe and a Diamond Head 130 L.

Text me at 404-934-4134 or email if you want or know someone who would be interested in free boards. You could decorate a bar with them if you didn't want to sail them.

If I don't hear from anyone, it will be 1-800-GOT-JUNK, next week....breaks my heart.

Two more fore the changing room? The longboard will be useful if you ever decide to convert the attic to a bonus room. ?

Sorry if I caused some confusion. Chris Voith has made a very cool "changing" area at the LLSC -see link below - using older, classic shortboards as the privacy wall. While these boards are still functional, their shapes are no longer current. Not to say we didn't have a blast on those older designs but, imho, the newer shapes make such a difference (in terms of width, volume placement, etc.) and there really isn't any significant demand for shortboards in general in Atlanta because of our lighter winds and how much more effective hydrofoils are for a good bit of our windsurfing. I contributed at least one board myself - a nice custom slalom board from the late 90s.

As one friend described it to someone who wondered if all those boards were truly functional and not just decorative: those are boards that mostly experts would use and experts now would chose to ride something more up to date.

Your longboard certainly would be appealing to someone but we move slowly around here. Will work on trying to find it a home. I've already got two in the garage myself. Does the longboard have a centerboard and fin?

Yes, it has the centerboard and the original fin, which I replaced with a better fin, but the fin could probably use a more modern one, though the board is so long it probably doesn't matter too much.
