FLORIDA SAILING

Need some help,

Thinking of driving down to Fl tomorrow for the BIG forecast for Monday and Tuesday. Where do I sail? Where can I stay? can I camp? Where will I be able to sail with other sailers? Don't want to sail alone. Forecast is for warm SE 15-25 on Monday, and warm 20-25 SW on Tuesday. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Trey

If you want to sail with other sailors, you will definitely have to drive some distance -- maybe Tampa or Calema. There are some great places on the coast (Destin, Port St. Joe, etc), but windsurfers are very rare -- especially on a week day!

St. Simons may be an option.

Trey - 843-363-6657. We got you covered for room and board. Not as warm as cocoa Beach but not as far either. BTW - I was in my short sleeve spring suit today so it's not that cold. If the forecast hold, just give a call and come on in . . . you know the way. tc

Decided to go to Ft Walton. Forecast is good both days. Never been there so I have no idea of what to expect. HH forecast looks better on Tuesday. I just need some solid wind. Hopefully I will find some. Talked to the local shop there (Liquid surf and sail). They said to come on down. We will see. 770-301-6541

Looks like we'll get wind at HHI on tuesday but there might be some electrical stuff with it. That was the scene last Tuesday before that front blasted through. South winds are pretty nice though !!!
