Feels like we've had an unusually intense absense of wind lately. Forecast calls for westerlies tommorrow maybe up to 10 in the PM. I think that I might take my longboard up to VP Wednesday & get out on the water. Also I may try to go to Sullivan's Island in a couple of weeks or whenever tide and seabreeze seem right.

I'm feeling it too Chris. I have been trying all summer to make a trip to Charleston or Savannah -- there just hasn't been any forecasted wind at all (except for one weekend a few weeks ago).
Let me know when you plan on going so we can hook up...
Local TV weather said "COLD FRONT" is on the way. We're going to have a tempt drop and supposed to have rain, could there be wind? (Tempt highs are dropping from mid 90s to high 80s.)

I don't think I've ever seen air as thick as it is today. I'm planning on some of that "cool Canadian air" for the weekend... in fact I think I'll head home right now to load up the little stuff.
I just heard on the WC - the NWS has reversed its Small Craft Advisory, issued last March. (Apparently they never got around to dropping it.) It is now safe to take your kayaks, motorboats, jetskis, and small sail boats out to the lake. The NWS also said that windsurfing, kitesurfing and all other wind related sports are now cancelled until further notice. Sorry guys. Wait till September.
