Van Pugh with Barrett, Rhett, Hamdi, Chris P, Roland and Tony. Roland had an "aha" moment today and I'm very happy for him. John scooted for Old Fed. I played with new toys and got very wet at times. See posts elsewhere.
Wish I'd had the time to watch and play with Chris V at the LLSC. Maybe another windy Wed.
Langdon disappeared upwind, way upwind, cruised down to VP and parts unknown. Tuning up for the Smith Regatta at Shell Point in June, I dusted off my longbored with 7.5 and tried to remember how to work it... still fun to work upwind then let it rip off the wind when it fills in. Twas fun to watch the 30+ big boat racers who had their hands full in the breeze.
Yo espero
Yo... yo? Guy who studied French (who helped foster Cinco de Mayo by losing) instead will be there, j'espère.
I was good to #4. Beyond that... (I just learned there were $500 titanium yoyos)
Mañana is good enough for me. I plan on heading to Van Pugh tomorrow mid-afternoon.
Barrett
A day without severe storm warnings or worse. That's a plus, I guess. Mid-afternoon for me, too.
Rhett & I expect to arrive at Van Pugh about Noon.
Barrett
Going to LLSC late afternoon (4:30-ish) and hanging out for 7p start of big boat racing.
gate #2839
At LLSC.
