Club Med Door Prize at the Fall Classic...

is really pretty awesome. It does not include airfare, but you can go to any of the resorts in the Carribean, the Sandpiper resort in Florida or to Crested Butte. The catalog has a very cool windsurfing shot on the cover and paging through it is impressive. The resorts are all-inclusive, so you just show up and everything is taken care of including bar tab for premium brands. Even lift tickets are included at Crested Butte. A lot of them have kids camps too with neat stuff like ski school at C. Butte, etc.

Cancun, Columbus Isle (brand new in the Bahamas), Turks & Caicos, Punta Cana (D.R.), Guadeloupe and Martinique are the Carribean destinations. The Turks and Caicos resort looks very nice esp if you like scuba and WSing.

Remember, you don't have to race to be eligible for this prize-- Just register in the Leisure Class. Registrations haven't exactly been pouring in, so there are pretty good odds of winning this $1200 trip. And it seems pretty likely you'll win some kind of door prize.

Leisure Class entrants get all the benefits of 'real' sailors including 5 meals, free camping, exotic brews from all over a three county area and all the usual lying and debauchery that comes from convening a bunch of windsurfers near water and beer. Plus it might be windy... (you know what happens then-- more lying and debauchery).

For $35 you really can't afford to stay home. The deadline to pre-register is upon us. I must have received your registration by Wednesday to avoid the $15 late fee. This is a big help to the chef to know how much to buy.

What more could you ask for? The TV said a cold front was on the way for Saturday, this could mean wind. It should be fun. You dont have to race to have a good time. Everybody come on out.
