Everyone is cordially invited to the Annual ABC Christmas Party, Sat. Dec. 16 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm at Grogan's Bluff Subdivision Clubhouse. 
Directions: From GA 400 - Exit 6 ( Northridge) go west approx .4 miles to Roswell Rd. Go South (turn left) on Roswell Rd. .7 miles to 8000 Roswell Rd. (Grogan's Bluff Subd. entrance. If you get to the QT you went just a little too far). Turn Right onto Grogan's Ferry Rd at 8000 Roswell Rd. Go approx. .2 mile to the Clubhouse on your left. (On Grogan's Ferry Rd. you should stay to your right when the road splits and the club house is right there after it comes back together.) There is parking in the clubhouse parking lot, and on the street. Please fill up the clubhouse lot first.
What to Bring? Please bring either a covered dish, appetizer/snack, or desert item. If you have an even numbered street address, please bring a covered dish or appetizer/snack item odd numbered street address, please bring a desert item. We will supply drinks, and a main course type item (ham, turkey, or the like.)
Door Prizes will be awarded by rigged drawing favoring the host and his friends. 
Windsense has lined up some great prizes from Chinook!
White Elephant gift exchange - bring some item (wrapped) for a gift. We'll have a number drawing to decide the order of gift selection. When your number is called, you either can select an unwrapped gift, or select any gift that has already been opened. At the end, trading, etc may take place. All gifts are final and may not be returned until next years party. Gifts can be gag gifts, or something that just didn't work out for you. If you can bring a windsurfing/kitesurfing related gift, so much the better, but its not required. This is your golden opportunity for "re-gifting" w/o shame or guilt. In years past we've had boards, fins, videos, etc. No need to be that extravagent, however.
Please RSVP (post here) and let me know if you are coming how many are coming with your, and what you might bring. (That way we can make adjustments if everyone decides to bring the same thing.) You may call me at 770-604-9806 also, instead of posting.
Whose invited? All Altanta Area windsurfers, kitersurfers, spouse or lovers, (but please choose one only), children and/or your groupies are welcome. For the kids, we plan to have a TV with DVD player and suitable movie to watch in case listening to windsurfing war stories proves too boring.

Have you ever hear of the Surfing Santas. Well they were obtained by me many years ago as a White Elephant present and I can promise you now that my wife, Gail, absolutely refused to give them back as a new white elephant present in all these past years and this year included. They proudly hang in our kitchen window every Christmas.
Really, they are pretty cool. 10 Surfing Santas on a string of lights.
Lisa and I will be there, it's the highlite of my Chtistmas season. And I think those generous Santa's from CHINOOK have sent some presents for all the windsurfers who have been good this year (or at least the lucky ones.)

Thanks to Chinook, Ezzy Sails, Epic Gear and Aerotech (and especially Gene & Chuck at Windsense and Whitecap Windsurfing respectively) we were flush with door prizes for the Fall Classic. So much so that we saved some of the most primo goodies for the ABC Christmas Party. I assume there will be some kind of drawing to give these cool things, (including 2 complete mast extensions with bases from Chinook-- worth over $100 each!). It should be "fun for the whole family". See you there.
That's great news on the door prizes! I've been in touch with some of the Galts sailors and like looks like we may have several more attending from that side of town. This is shaping up to be a great event!

The club house doesn't have a street address, as far as I know. But the entrance to the Subdivision is 8000 Roswell Rd. Atlanta, GA. 30350. That should get you there on mapquest.
