Charleston Update

Chuck and I were on the water 6:30am. Glassy waves, enormous, and we also had a little eye opener as a dorsal fin emerged 10 yards from us. Luckly, it was of the friendly type. We surfed, i mostly paddled and fell a lot (I'm now the national spokesperson for soft core boards), for 2 1/2 hours in 3-5' in the am. We went back out at high tide as the surf was getting huge. Local news reported 5-9 feet, and it felt like 20. I had some good rides, one for about 55 seconds, which as a beginner, I was very stoked about. Chuck had several epic rides way more than my 55 seconds, and you can even see a spring in is step. I also had several trips over the falls, many deep cleanings with salt water, and spent a lot of time surveying the ocean floor, but managed to stagger away.

Tomorrow, forecast is for 15-20 so it should be fun. I'm looking forard to actually windsurfing, and looks like you guys will get to have some fun to.
