The Monday forecast looks great for big wind from the Southwest. The question is: what is the best sailing site on L. Lanier for SW wind. Which launch is better, Old Federal Park or Sunrise Cove?
I plan to go mid-day if the forecast looks good in the morning.

SW winds are sooo unpredictable. We had a forecast of 20-30 last week -- went to the lake and not even a whitecap. I bet Tuesday will be the day to go!
I'm not seeing 'wow', show me wow...
The forecast for SW wind this afternoon looks good, even better tomorrow with a cold front bringing WNW wind. Because SW forecasts are less reliable, I'm waiting for the surface wind to start picking up before leaving. Doug is heading to Sunrise, so I'll go there.

Doesn't look so good right now anyway, so I think I'll wait until tomorrow afternoon and head out to Van Pugh then. If you head to Sunrise Barrett, I hope it starts blowing and you have some company (I could change my mind if it starts up!).
