Windsurfed July 6 on the Outer Banks. Got to use my skills from the windsurf clinic we had on June 26. (Thanks guys!)

Rented equipment at the Hatteras sport shop about 3 miles north of Cape Hatteras. Calm waters, 10-15 mph in the morning from the NE. Wind died down a little in the afternoon, had to get a bigger sail. It really is only waist deep water 2 miles out.

Camped at the campground on the sound near there. Lots of fun. Not too crowded - seemed like everyone was leaving from their weekend there for the holiday. Had ferry reservations to get there from Cedar Island but didn't need them; 1:45 pm ferry was half empty, but ferries heading for the mainland were packed.
