Well, guys time to dig out your old longboards, or get a new one. There is a new sport taking off - Standup Paddle Surfing. Several board makers are now making boards (some dedicated to stand up, others with the option for putting your sail on it.) Requires no wind at all, can be done on lakes, streams, anywhere (swimming pools.) This has officially become recognized as a "cool" sport, since Laird Hamilton (and just about everyone else in Hawaii) is doing it!

Naturally, you would be more "cool" to use all new gear (check with Gene). However, since we are so far from Hawaii, we can probably get away with using our old stuff. Looks like you need something at least 12 foot long. (Might be a good idea to paint your old board and put some flowers on it or something.)
So now it looks like Windsurfing and Kitesurfing are both cancelled.
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
I guess I'll need my old astro rock back for this fad. Ha ha ha How have you been??? I'm coming to Atlanta in early March and plan to see Jimmy maybe you also.
