Tuesday wasn't bad at Galt's. Started out SW (lousy) then turned around west with an occasional NW. Sailed my 9.0 and planed most of the time. Jimmy showed up but was sick. He sailed about an hour. The 60 degree temp wasn't bad either. Randy went to that other lake. I'm sure he had at least as good a day.

A good day at Lanier as well at Two Mile, at least. I first rigged my 8.4, but then it looked pretty windy, so I rigged my 7.0 also. By the time that was done, it looked more like 8.4, so I sailed that nicely powered for about 40 minutes. It picked up so I went to the 7.0 for about two hours. It was perfectly powered most the time, though sometimes a little pumping was needed to get going. It was very nice, some chop, but not bad and plenty warm. Gainsville reported W at about 12-22 from about noon to 3. The wind dropped off after 3. Two Mile works pretty well for W though its best on SW. If its nw, then I think you need to get out a ways, though its pretty easy sailng then, since you don't have to fight your way upwind.

What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
Barrett, Marcell and I sailed Van Pugh from about 2:30 till 5:00. We ran the big stuff and at first you had to pump to get going but toward the end it filled in and was planing most of the time. It was just such a nice day, warm and sunny.
