Almost live (9:15) update from Randy at Tidwell, WhiteCaps, he's rigging a 7.5. At my house it's 47 degrees. I think I'll wait awhile.

I'll be heading up to Galt's. Be there about 11:00.

Strange day. It was capping at 9:15 but dropped off, soon as I hit the water. I figured that was it, but stayed out on the lake anyway. After maybe another 45 minutes it made a comeback (a second wind?, pretty rare for an easterly), not as solid as before but caps and enough wind to plane for more than an hour. I'd have been better off on a bigger sail (8.4 maybe insstead of the 7.4) but can't complain. At 8:15 when I left for the lake, Gainville was only reporting 5-6.

It looked real windy here in Augusta this morning, but it died real quick. Yep, its a good day to watch to some golf instead. I can hear the Master's crowds cheering while in my back yard (I only live about a 1/2 mile from Augusta National)!
Made it to Galts at 11:30. Felt like the wind was about 8-12 ish, marginal for my 9.0. Decided to do other things instead.

Bill,
I just saw the movie, "Lord of War". Perhaps you should go by "Lord of Wind".
