I've sailed at Galts when it was well above 840, but nothing like this. This is about the highest I've ever heard of it being. My guess is the entire beach side parking lot is under water and maybe even the parking lot for the boats is as well.

What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
We sailed there back in the early 90s when the water was almost to the bathhouse. The poles on the jettie were even underwater. I remember there being lots of logs to watch out for.
I was there last week and there is no lower parking visible. The fishing jetty can not be seen except for the top of the marker. The water is even up to the picnic pavillion between the lower parking lot and the upper lot. I have some photos but do not know how to add them to the photo gallery.
Finally, Allatoona is big enough to sail on. Any idea how long it'll stay above full pool?
Actually, with all the crap floating down the rivers, I'm not sure I'd wait before sailing.

"...expected to peak near 856 msl." That's 16' above full pool (840 msl). The forecast shows a return to full pool towards mid October.
