Sailed Vann's in a rather unusual condition (windwise) - strong & gusty SE to S. Had to shlog 1/2 mile out to get to the good wind but once there it was serious rockin & rollin. I sailed 4.7 - up & down , but mostly well powered. Had a goodly crowd of people - the regulars, plus Chuck Hardin, John Laing, and a couple of guys not known to me. About 3:30, the wind was shifting SW & I left to continue session at 2 Mile Creek with strong 5.7 conditions and no wind shadow for another 2 or 3 hours. It's a great spot for SW and a nice and little used park. Left about dark. A great day, much needed.
