ACWA Starboard/Sailworks Demo Day, Lake Montecello -- Sat.

April 28th --whoa, that's this Saturday! -- at Lake Montecello, it's the ACWA* annual Spring tradition: our Starboard/Sailworks Demo Day with Roger Jackson.
I realize it's a 3 hour+ drive for Atlanta folks, but it is a unique opportunity to see -- and ride, if there's wind -- the most complete, state-of-the-art line of boards in the world, Starboard. And, of course, one of the most-honored brands of sails as well, Sailworks. All on Powerex masts.
Don't count on planable wind, of course, but if it shows -- LIKE IT HAS THE LAST 2 YEARS then, that's a bonus. (there, I said it. Don't buy into jinxes; only weakens the mind.) Good cookout food. Fantastic company of about 40 or so windsurfers from the region.
We'll stat at 11am and go until we don't want to any more. The event site is a park in Montecello, SC on the lake, about 20 minutes off I-26 above Columbia, SC.
RSVP to me, please -- whitecapws@hotmail.com-- if you think you might come (so we can have a semi-accurate food count) and I'll send you detailed directions.
