A lot of America's Cup skippers and crew have been heavily influenced by sailing Moths and Waszps - foiling single-handed boats. With Team NZ's test mule sporting a curved wing with no visible way of having a flap like most other teams' foils, an informed speculation that with more and more skippers and crew either winging or windfoiling, the idea of having flapless foil wings may have merit.
