I had a brief but fun longboard sesh out of LLSC... sailed most of the way up to VP then back downwind on some long, fast reaches. I caught a glimpse of Pyron who launched from Old Fed and later came over to the club to spectate the Wednesday night big boat racing. There was also a kite dude who was attempting to launch from the Old Fed camping area just in front of the club beach. He was struggling a little getting off the shore but it looked like he knew what he was doing. He also had a pontoon boat and some friends helping him... seemed like a good idea. I had to leave so I didn't see if he got it going or not. It turned into a nice, breezy afternoon.
I'm heading to the Lake and plan to arrive before 2:30 PM.
