Anyone going to Galts? I may give it a try late if the forcast holds. I will likely launch at the East side of the beach for more fetch. Hopefully it will be west enough.

Alan,
I could be tempted, but not launching at Galts. W direction usually comes out of the coves and creates wind eddies. SW becomes even worse coming over the trees.
Sweetwater would be my choice if the winds meet forecast.

It will likely be Galts for me. I like Galts when it is West. It gets a somewhat clear shot down the cove at the yatch club. If you launch from the East side of the beach you get a little more fetch and the gusts seems to fill in a little. I agree SW is bad but it isn't a total loss if you can get out to the poles. I am afraid of Sweetwater uless it stays SW. I feel like it will be a little more West. In short, it will be Galts for me at about 3.

Good day. Sailed from 3 to about 5. Powered up on the 9.0. Planed most of the time.

I did not get a chance to get out on the water.
Busy with that work junk.
Glad someone else had fun since I missed it.
