28th Annual Fall Classic and Shredfest: Oct 20-22

FYI-I thought that this deserved to be a "post", as well as being on the home page. I sometimes tend to focus just on the messages and ignore everything else...

"Possibly the nation's longest running regatta plus the biggest Atlanta windsurfing party in ages. Following on the large turnout and good time of last year’s Shredfest, we decided to combine with the Fall Classic to make it even bigger and better. Shredfest is part swap meet, part Wind Ceremony, part sailing, part decadence and a 100% good time. Bring your stuff to sell or just come and go sailing. Come just for the day on Saturday or camp out Friday and/or Saturday. You can BYOB & food (grill available), or register in the “Leisure Class” for the 5 meal deal and a chance for great door prizes. Or, you may want to sign up for dinner only on Saturday. It’s not a regatta, it’s just for grins... and it’s free! You can’t afford to stay home. "

Download the details and Notice of Race for those racing:

I guess I dont understand when the post says 'its not a regatta, its just for grins...and its free'. Cause the link says $45 to register. Does this mean the entry is free and the meals are $45?

BYOB (& food) for free. (Also free camping, debauchery, etc).

Enter the Leisure Class for $25 and get 5 meals, exotic beers from a five county area and a chance for swell door prizes (thanks to Windsense and WhiteCap Windsurfing).

Racers enter the Fall Classic for $45.
