On top of that check out the Apollo, claimed (emphasis on claimed) to plane 2 knots sooner than any formula board.

The description of the Apollo reminded me of an old Windsurf Magazine article. They took a door, took the hinges off, mounted a fin and mastfoot. They then sailed it. They said it planed fast but that was all it could do. Interesting.

The old "door board". Of course, that's what guys have been saying for years about all wide boards, and esp. formula boards, so if that's what they're going to say, why fight it.

Any other formula board. It is Formula class legal (but that 75 cm fin may not be). It seems optimized for lightwind conditions with the extra width up front and flat rocker line. I'd hate to be on that board in chop .
