Hey guys,
Looking at the NW front arriving Sunday for a session at VP. Any interest?
The forecast is 10-14kts w/ gusts over 20kts, however, ...
the temperature will be dropping from 57 to 47 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the day, and ...
there's a rain component in the morning that might reek havoc on the wind.
Lemme know, thx!
Best,
-Stuart
p.s. I saw that there is an ABC party on Saturday night and will likely attend.

If it's not wet, I'll probably be in. You can probably talk Barrett, Gene, JB and Ed into it as well. Being a weekend, probably a few more.
I am in.
Sounds delightful guys. Be sure to ground your masts. (I'll probably be trying to dodge lightning bolts somewhere on land.)
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
Yup Sunday’s forecast looks rainy now. I’m gonna check the forecast tomorrow ….

I hope to sail at Van Pugh Sunday afternoon, based on the updated forecast.

What thickness wetsuits are you guys wearing? My 5/4 is toasty, but takes 30 minutes to put on!
Also, had to chose between party and sailing Sunday, for family reasons… so I’ll miss you guys tonight
Some of us windsurfers are doing 4/3 but foilers may be doing 5/4 as there is more "wet" time. It will depend a bit on the air temperature.
But don't dress for the conditions. Dress for the possible half hour swim if things go sideways. I've done a long swim in December. 1/5 stars.
Sorry Stewart, I revised the post from Sunday AM to PM. Clearly the morning is a wash-out, but this Sunday afternoon looks promising for sailing at Van Pugh. It looks like the rain will move out & wind will pick up from the Northwest. I plan to sail at Van Pugh.

What’s the call? Who else is coming? What time?
Ugh! After all the prep , it looks like I can’t make it today.
Thanks for the wise advice on wetsuit selection.
I live my kids (3mo and 2.5 yrs) - just need them to learn to wing asap!
Haizar & Webguy are out. Don’t want to sail alone in winter, so I’m out too.
