Really windy day at Galts. I wingfoiled with 3,0 with help from Foil Drive. Took about an hour to get untracked but once I did, everything fell into place. I have the motor about 12 inches from the top of the mast and most of the time it just took a short boost to get up on the foil. Once up I could turn off the motor and fly only on wing power. A few times I didn't even need the motor. After about on hour I still had 90% of the charge left. The motor does create drag but either I didn't notice if, or I was flying with the motor above the water. Some might say it's "cheating" but I'm only cheating the wind - and it owes me anyway.

The early morning session at Tidwell was great. Rich was already on the water winging when I arrived. I rigged a 4m wing, and had more than enough power to stay on foil. Rich had rigged big and somehow managed to hang on. Chris arrived shortly after I had gotten out of the water and I was hoping Mike would make his way over to keep him company, but doesn’t sound like he did. Glad Chris had a good solo session anyway.

I’ll join you as well
Edit. I’m going to Galts instead of Vanns.
Enjoy!
I'm planning on going to Galts in the AM. Chris P is planning to come as well.

I missed you guys by a few minutes at Vanns and ended up sailing solo at Tidwell.
Epic day though with 5.5, steady-ish wind
