Friday NW wind

If the Fx holds I plan to sail at VP tomorrow afternoon.

Re: Friday NW wind

I'm pondering. Friends coming into town and chances of rain make it challenging though.

Iā€™m a definite maybe. Looks like rain is staying west (rough looking flooding setup in Alabama). I may go to LLSC to teach a friend and launch from there.

That train of storms looks ominous. Looks like some of the later storms could be headed for ATL. Theres a patch over Memphis that looks like it wants to drift a bit east. I'll see if I can sneak my gear into the van but looking tough today.

Re: Friday NW wind

Decent quick summer session at Old Fed.
7m of Severne was sufficient enough for flight as long as there was clouds overhead

Re: Friday NW wind

Although not the wind forecasted, (forecast thought the storms would be closer?) it was still fun at Old Federal. Real lite to start but after a few hours it came up some. Kai, Susan and I winged (7.0/5.0/6.0,) and Hamdi and Langdon windfoiled (6.4/7.0) Langdon always seems to bring some wind,
