Ok day with the FG7.0m.
The wind tried to get right as the day cooled but did not quite get organized.
I had fun and learned some new things that I had forgotten like check sail rotation before going out on the water.
Missed downhaul by 2 cm too short and outhaul 4 cm too long. Once this was remedied things went much better.
It is nice to be out of the neoprene.
Today was the day I dream about on all those cold days in January when I can't feel my fingers or toes. Warm water, good breeze, lots of sunshine.
I had a good time and I'll probably sleep in tomorrow morning as I'm worn. Joined by Barrett, Alan, Gene, Chrises Pyron and Voith, Hamdi, Langdon, Roland, Richard with a supporting cast of sailboats on the lake. Robert B and Jim Crooks stopped by as well.
Thanks to everyone for the good vibes on the beach and the water and a shout out to my lovely wife who was patient as I made a late dinner. btw, Langdon is absolutely sticking his jibes and Gene and Chris V both were oh so close today. The water was quite flat for the 20ish mph gusts which made bending into the curves fun.

Things are going pretty well in Vero. I have been out each day since arriving. But the swell has been small and the wind just ok. Hoping to use the smaller gear on some larger swells but for now just happy to be flying.
