Models suggest gusts in the high 30s. Sounds like 3.7-4.0 kind of weather. I've sailed 7 out of the past 8 days. I may give this one a pass as I'd need to scrounge around for my 75 liter board. Then again, maybe it's just the fatigue talking and I'll be inspired tomorrow.
For those that can go out, have fun! If you are unsure of yourself, choose a more mellow spot than VP. It will be wild and woolly tomorrow on the water.

Is anyone sailing today at Van Pugh? I'd rather windsurf, but don't want to sail alone in strong wind with cold water.

I'm in -one to 1:30.
On my way to Galts Ferry. ETA 12:30.
From responses asking who's going today, it looks like Chris & I are the only ones interested in sailing in today's high wind. So I'm going to pass today and plan on sailing tomorrow, Sunday.

I will meet Jean-Baptiste @ 2pm at OF for Winging and Windsurfing.
Sunday sounds good,
This reminds me that I have a 78L Eruption with a tiny, adorable fin- free for the asking! This is the one that appeared at Holiday parties a few times and was eventually abandoned at the sailing club. I’ve enjoyed looking at it occasionally in my backyard and contemplating various lame “artistic” uses for it.
Maybe it’s your turn now?
Hard to make it to the lake with a newborn at home, but was able to get out on the Windskate ??

Windy day at Galts, overpowered with the 5.2, nobody else on the water … at the end of the session, the sail flew off and met a picnic table ? . New sail is highly recommended now .
Gilmer wind yesterday. I regret nothing about staying home and powerwashing the patio. 3 pm lull of 18. 3:10 gust of 46. Ugh.
Ain't going to lie, Saturday was no fun. Too windy to foil, to gusty to windsurf. I miss Hatteras.
