I will try to go. Also, any flights yesterday?
BTW - Thank you William for reminding me how to easily check the extended version of this graph and for sharing some other points on forecasts.
( First, just click the link that says see extended forecast - ugh - I am blind)

Yesterday was a bust. Very steady wind but no puffs to get off the water.
Virtually no big power boats. Water was as flat as a weekday.
Oh yea, rain... hmm, how hard will it be raining? Let's see. On the other hand, of course, not doing lightening.
Eh, you'll be winging. You'll already be wet.
Euro model shows heavier patches of rain moving through than GFS. May offer chances to sail between. Although, I've seen Tony up there on a day like that when the only time there was wind was during the rain and it would shut off in the middle of the rain offering the worst of both worlds.

Anybody going?
I am watching the FX and going back-forth between sailing and rowing. Wind looked more promising an hour ago then just now…will keep watching till about 10:30-11 and decide
I’m also watching Wx to decide if worth going late morning/mid-day.

Saturday looks promising.

I chose wisely today…and I know that usually means I chose biking or rowing but today it was actually a wise choice to foil. Had a great 1.5hr session for 15 miles- no rain, great wind (at times too much for the 7.6 I rigged but I managed), not too uncomfortable for air/water temps (I was comfortable with 3.2 neoprene).
Hope to make Sat, either early or late session (ie. pretty sure not midday), depending on when we hike or bike

Richard called to let me know the wind was picking up. He was finished winging by the time I arrived at Vanns, but Rhett was already out on the water. It turned out to be a great wind-foiling afternoon with my new 6.7m Ezzy Cross sail.

Wed was great. I DID work from Vann's and enjoyed foiling with the friends noted above! I foiled twice, each time for just over 30 mins. For the first time I foiled with someone else, Rhett and I rode a nice puff, he was to windward. Otherwise, I was not able to be up 90%+ of the time like the wind foilers. I was able to foil when the wind was at 13-14 vs 12. Neil says 12 will go with practice. I dunno, buying a bigger wing and another foil may also help ... always does.
It was great that the wind delivered and held. It was super fun making baby step tweaks and improvements. Enclosed is one of my tracks, I actually went up wind - haha.
It was great to share the experience with friends.
