Good news - it'll be windy.
Bad news: "Rain showers likely, possibly mixing with snow after 11am, then gradually ending. Partly sunny, with a high near 42. Chance of precipitation is 60%."
Put another log on the fire for me.

Wimp. ?
I'm good with that. Gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em.
Cold weather wimps– I know 'em when I see 'em. I are one
Hmm, what about early Sat?!
Cold weather is no problem. You just have to have the right ride. This was from the blizzard that recently paralyzed Marietta.

Looking like 35...having second thoughts!
But then Sunday, a SW?! - no me gusta SW - haha.
A general rule of thumb.
If the wind speeds are close to the temperature it’s a no go for this wimp.

48 mph gust at PDK this morning.
Similar at Gilmer (I think 46 was the top so far?). Temps hovering just above freezing. Richard G texted me a scouting report. Said it was good hang gliding conditions with a 5.0 wing. Noped out for some coffee.
Edit: Weathercat has rewarded our discretion today and has given us a dot tomorrow in the afternoon when it's 50.
So much for going early....

It does look a little breezy on the LLSC webcam.
Got home late last night and was getting pelted with sweet gum balls, forecast at the time showed 49mph gust.

Rhett sent me these just now from VP
Watching the players golf tournament at Sawgrass in NE Florida
The wind is not their friend, 20 balls in the water there so far.
I guess if Rhett sails today that will make 2 big ones in Lanier.

He chose wisely and passed. He did ask me about West Point early today, though. I had to tell him Lagrange was showing 32 at the time. Y'all a thirsty bunch.
