Last minute trip to Pensacola as the FX is looking good for the next 4-5 days in a row (some portion of each day anyways) and nada continues here.
If you’re up for it, let me know. I would work some portion of the day, play the rest. Work/play balance depends on conditions. Staying in Destin, likely foiling in Navarre and/or Gulf Breeze.

Can't make it but gotta say the idea of 3-4 days foiling in FL right now would be heaven.
Next time my friend. I will do a couple runs for you!
Thanks, stay off the sand, though.
Today is pretty much as good as it gets in FL - 12-15 all day, flat water with some white caps.
The day is young, hop in the car! ?
Last pic from yesterday, which was pretty much like Vanns last Mon - start with pumping, then no pumping needed, then wondering about rigging smaller under heavy rain & wind. Good day still, considering I left home yesterday am. - advantage of Pensacola: can be on the water noonish same day you leave ATL.

How far do you have to walk out to foilable water?
Can you show the launch and parking on a map?

Good thing you went to FL this week and not next
"Tropical Depression Nine (TD 9) formed in the central Caribbean on Thursday morning and is expected to intensify into a hurricane after it passes western Cuba and enters the Gulf of Mexico Friday night. The National Hurricane Center is predicting that TD 9 will rapidly intensify Saturday and Sunday and be near major hurricane strength as it approaches landfall along the central U.S. Gulf Coast on Sunday."

I wait till the last minute to book these trips, come for a short period (hence liking the shorter distance of this area vs other parts of FL), and agonize over details of the FX on multiple sites - ie. The ‘measure 10 times, cut once’ approach. FX can still shift on you of course but knock on wood, haven’t had a bust trip here yet. I have missed plenty of opportunities though due to playing it safe…which is fine, there will be others.
Great day today - about 28miles of foiling with 1 mild fall. Tomorrow looking about the same, so time to rest and carb load ?
PS: Margaritaville right behind the hotel and I have a buy one get one free Margarita coupon - so, make that carb load with a side of Margaritas!

Good to see you're getting time on the water where there's clean, white sand.

Thank you Barrett! Not the same as foiling with friends but enough is enough, Lanier and nearby lakes have been windless too long.
