Lovely day yesterday. Thanks to Chris as others have said. LLSC was a perfect launch and it was nice to be out among sailboats instead of the heavy powerboat traffic down the lake.
Only downer of the day was I was slow packing up and then stopped at Publix in Flowery Branch to pick up some cereal which delayed me just enough to hit a construction closure of 3-4 lanes on I-85 south around Pleasant Hill. Took me 2 hrs to get home.
Lester Ross from the Lake Lanier Sail Rats FB page caught me in the distance out in the main channel. Nice to be included with wider sailing community.
Bummed I couldn’t make it.
