Am I reading the reports right because some of these report seem to me to suggest some wind in the afternoon?

Depends on the timing of the rain line/front coming through. Should be SW 12 gusting 20+ from looking at GFS and Euro models on windy.com before the rain. I'd keep a radar app on my phone handy. Getting caught out in the rain won't be fun. The higher winds in the afternoon will be either right before or in the middle of the rain. Be aware of what's upwind ie if you see dark clouds don't outstay your welcome. You should know before going on the water how far the rain is and approximately how fast it's moving.

Or come to Galts. The front will get through here first!

I’ll be ready to drive to the Lake tomorrow afternoon, but not depart until I see the rain about to pass through. (Per Webguy’s advice.)

Don't want mess up anybody's plans, but there is a 30% chance of rain according the NWS. So there is a 70% chance it won't rain. Might be a long wait before it passes. The amount forecast is a few hundredths of an inch. No t-storms in the forecast.* Just sayin......

* Disclaimer - I'm not the saying the forecast will be right. I have no opinion regarding the accuracy of the forecast. Windsport is dangerous in any weather conditions and you may suffer injury, death, dismemberment, broken equipment or worse, personal embarrassment, if you attempt to windsport tomorrow. And remember always - it is 2020.

What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.

Actually, webguy was suggesting before the front comes through. Both Euro and GFS have rain coming in around 2 ish. I'm thinking that there won't be enough daylight for the wind to kick in behind it. OTHOH, Monday afternoon looks decent but not sure if enough wind for wings.

Re: How about Sunday?

Update - the line of showers seems to be speeding through MS and into AL this morning. Trying to guesstimate arrival - seems like maybe 1-2 ish. Barrett's thoughts of sailing after might work if it gets here early enough. Either way, the timing is tough as I'm not sure there's enough time before hand to go up and get a decent session in while still getting off the water in time.

Is it possible that I might totally lower my standards and slum over to Galt's?

btw, the line of showers seems to be somewhat dissipating. It was overcast at home and in 20 minutes, clear as a bell.

OF live at 1:45: no rain, half a dozen windsurfers and a kiter here but on shore at the moment. Feels lighter than Fri - 7.6 might have worked for me but, based on forecast- and not learning my lessons-, brought smaller sails. Debating to rig or go rowing...

2:15 blowing hard - very hard!

I arrived just as the wind Hamdi reported died. I rigged any way, thinking that when the clouds cleared the wind would pick up, and it did. Despite solid whitecaps, I had a good time foiling overpowered. The late crew included Howard, Dimitri, Chris P., Ed & Dave (kiting). It all came to an end with a beautiful sunset, then packing up in twilight.
