Although it's frezzing (49 degrees,) I think I'll head to Vanns Tavern this morning, Eta around 11.00, Then hopefully sail Old Federal Sunday afternoon.
Vanns live 10am: sunny and lots of white caps still visible. Good news for me: I DID bring the 4.7 today!
Alan: you see, I EVENTUALLY learn- just slow on the up take.?
Wind kicked in at my house in Dunwoody. Looks like it could be a fun day. Roland is letting me borrow his extra set of gear again so hope to sail with some people . Is Old Federal the call of the day? Anybody over there, yet? Enlighten me!

Sunday afternoon had some WOW factor for this newb.
A little intimidatingly for sure, but once out in it, it was kind of cool to not to be worried about getting back. My 6m was so overpowered at times that it was completely useless until the wind backed off some. That was a totally new experience. Other times I felt like a cartoon character being zipped along at the mercy of the latest gust. Still makes me want to laugh. Next time Neal gets the 6m, and I'm taking the 4m LOL. Really neat to out there with so many other wind loving folks.
Thanks for the pics. It was fun seeing everyone Sunday. Everyone was in agreement that there was Wind! Without Roland, I would have been high and dry, so I was so appreciative to borrow his gear. Good example of the Camaraderie with the Windsport Atlanta group. People are always helping each other out. I am heading back south for the winter but will return to ATL at some point. I am sure Roland, Reggie, & Toni will be continue the Wing Vibe! And, based on the chatter, I think we’ll see some converts soon!! WingFoil Regatta Spring 2021
At least water is still warm.

At my house, sun's out and wind's up (well starting to blow.) I'm going to head to old federal in about an hour.
Yesterday was OK at Vanns Tavern, east north east wind was strong to start and then slacked off some.

In a few months, that'll be a warm spell and we'll all be relieved.
