Remnants of Zeta will be in the neighborhood Thursday. It'll possibly be a wild ride and if it's close enough, not for the timid or inexperienced.
I'm still on the bench so spectating from afar. Have fun boys and girls and, as always, TAKE SOME DAMN PICS for the rest of us.
Edit: just found this gust forecast. I think I'll spend Thursday in my basement. Windy is showing gusts of 60 in Atl and Lanier as the core of the storm passes. Euro showing gusts in the 70s and 80s in the mountains. If this is even remotely true, measure your abilities carefully before going out at the peak.

If forecast holds, I will pass on Thursday and sail Friday and maybe Saturday
Just looked at Euro and GFS. Both have the storm coming through from 6-8 am. There will be carnage from the trees in my neighborhood. Not looking forward to this.
I’m hoping to go somewhere Thursday evening.

Friday may be a better option.
Is Van Pugh still closed?
Ed
AFAIK. The vandals did a number on us. Maybe Langdon has more info?
Gene drove by there in the last week or so. Still closed.
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
Thank you, Plague Doctor. Sorry that the last few days have been hectic for you. You should get some of Windlord's masks if he has any extras.
I’m hoping rain will clear or lighten up by tomorrow afternoon.
I’ll be at Old Federal tomorrow around 2pm and again around 10am Friday morning.

This afternoon looks nice but probably gusty. Hope everyone held up well overnight.
Passing up today due to possible debris - just fixed my foil wing and not risking damaging it before trip to SC next week. Might go on our neighborhood lake with a fin.
Will try Fri-Sat early at lake Lanier (or possibly Galts).
I’m headed to old fed. Can post a debris report
Alan
At least a couple of wings headed up there today. Not much breeze in Atlanta. Just the sound of chainsaws. Must be brutal to the NW of here.
Barely enough to foil a 7.3
Very little debris. Saw one thumb sized branch so far.
Turned out okay, big sail day. Rhett, Chris P, Nam and friend and a new winger, Tony came to play.
David and Gail Wade were riding around on the poontang boat snapping photos.
Tomorrow mornings forecast looks better, I’ll be at Old Fed around 9am to get a couple hours in.

Howling in town tonight
I didn't even know I was taking video. I thought they were all still shots.
