Saturday: Now there are dots in the forecast, but also chance of rain and t-storms. I have a sore leg (made worse by 3 days of much flogging and too little foiling this week) so I'm on the (electric?) fence.

What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
I’m considering going this morning as well. Rain I don’t mind, Lightning is a different story, but the forecast calls for the thunderstorms starting early afternoon.
There is a steady consistent breeze here but it is sub 10mph.
Not enough for me to rig but enough to keep me here for a little bit to see if it increases.
Currently overcast but no rain. Gainesville is reporting ~5 kts. I am seeing more than that here.
I do not know if GVL under reports East winds due to physical location of Wx Station or not.
Very little boat traffic. A few bass boats. I do not see any credit card captains about
5 sailboats in view. All moving but not keeled over
Parking lot almost empty
Edit at 11:00 am
More wind, but I still think under 10mph
No rain, clouds going overhead quickly
Edit at noon
Sun is out and so are the credit card captains.
Going to go cut grass
Thanks for the updates Langdon and sorry it didn't pan out for you today. I was on the fence based on various forecasts showing conflicting outlook. Seeing your updates, opted for a long swim at the pool and ended up setting a PR in distance for me (3050m, just under 1.5hrs).
Hopefully Tues will pan out much better.

Chris V has said before that GVL is slightly windshadowed on an east so tends to slightly under report.
Somebody post some pics...
Already rearranged work schedule.
See y'all there bright and early
Come on out, I got some Gorilla tape.
Alan
I swapped off days, see ya there hopefully
Yeah, that would be fun to remove...
Slightly off topic.
Tomorrow's windsurfing forecast is improving depending on where the rain is / is not
