The cement ramp near the waters edge is really slick.
This is not to be confused with;
Slick
Kinda slick
Rather slick
"Yeah I know, it was slick last year also"
This IS the kind of slick that will have you on your back or hip before you can say "Oh Shi..
I was being careful and I still landed on back and forearm
I will bring a stiff brush or broom next time and try and make it better
Seriously, Super slick

I saw a couple people lose it there a few weeks ago.
Seems like itβs slickest right where the water laps the concrete.
Did you hurt anything other than your pride?
Alan
Mainly just pride.
It is slick about 12"-18" or so above the waterline.
I have slipped every year but usually maintain enough traction that my legs do not fly out from underneath me. This time it might as well have been ice.
As I was bringing the board out of the water a good friend reached to keep my sail from touching the rocks and he also fell victim to the slime.
Yesterday
Langdon: Be careful, it' really slick
Me: Okay, I'll be ca....
It would be easy to break a wrist or elbow. Luckily, I did neither.
Or worse, your foil wing.
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
