Enjoy Gene, living the dream! Too much going on at work for me, unlikely.

If the wind holds up, I plant to sail Van Pugh arriving early afternoon.

At VP, stronger wind than I expected, white caps and blowing steady. Not sure if I will stay or long as stupid me didn't bring anything smaller than 6.4 - this feels too much for that

Another front in Tennessee, These sometimes will suck the energy out of the first one.
I'm going wait and go tomorrow.

Broke out the surf wing for my Tillo foil when the wind peeled off in the afternoon. Happiness. Big thanks to Barrett and Chris who spent time taking pics. These guys are super kind.

I'll be at Van Pugh before 1PM, but have a call and can't sail until 2PM.

Wind is right in shore at Old Federal.
I’m staying here in hopes I try out my small short board.
Should be okay too if I t clocks NW later.

Z, me, Hamdi, Al, Chris P and Ed did Van Pugh. Z started it off with a 7.2 and I followed with a foil/4.7 and then somebody turned on the switch. Spent most of the day on a 4.2 until I unnecessarily came in to switch back to the 4.7. We also had the company of a Hobie, Sunfish, a few big sailboats and a smattering of powercraft. Gusty, gusty, gusty. In the big gusts (Gilmer was reporting mid 30s) my helmet was being tugged on my head. Shok

Richard G reports his first foil flight on Lake Windward. Welcome to the club!

At Old Federal it was me, Gene, Barrett, David Wade and a whole bunch of kiters.
I Foiled w/6.2 (fun) then switched to a fin (not as much fun) when it picked up. Gene foiled then windsurfed with a 5.2. Barrett alternated between 6.0 and 7.0. It was one of those days when every sail size was good and bad. Chop was steep and irregular which made it more difficult.

I'd be shocked if either a) the boat was certified for that many; or b) there are enough pfds aboard. Of course, if corona was on board, it would be fighting for a place amongst a number of other viral and bacterial infections. That boat is probably even more crowded on a microscopic scale. Lol
