The NWS forecast doesn't show it, but with a cold front approaching, there's a chance for NW wind tomorrow early afternoon. I plan to sail at Van Pugh if it picks up.
Update: Should arrive mid afternoon. Rhett's coming, too. Should be a flock of foils.
Meanwhile, thoughts to those dealing with Irma. Feels like a huge cannon slowly being aimed at you. Also, just saw the devastating fires in the Gorge. Mother Nature is pissed about something.
It looks foilable -8 to 15 on windmapper. May join you if I can get my regular crap done.
The janitor just snuck some dots into the forecast.
I'm in. 3-ish
Hope to join you.
Forecast is now NW 15 G20 so I plan on sailing at Van Pugh arriving around 3:30PM.

I heard there was some foiling done yesterday. I think someone sent me some video. Not sure if this is from Barrett or Randy

Must be Randy. All I saw was smooth sailing from the 3 foilers.
What a great afternoon at Lanier! I went out on an 8.5m sail, but soon rigged down to a 7.0m as the wind picked up and smoothed out.
