Great. Lazer seems to be the ultimate almost no wind ride. Were you able to rig the laser single handed? I paddled a couple miles with the repaired kayak.

What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
Ok, the wind might have been a little more but not much, clocked it on the beach at 3 mph, definately under 10 mph. And I didnt plane or anything, but was able to cruise around. David Wade came over and hung out, and Langdon was going out windsurfing to work on stuff when I left. Old Federal was almost empty. Nice day.
I did rig, launch, on and off the trailer by myself. The sail (7.3 sq meters I think) rigs a lot like a windsurfer, 2 piece aluminum mast into the sail mast sleeve. To step the mast, just pick it up and drop it in the hole on the deck. It might be trickier if there was much wind, not a problem today.
Not much wind but nice day.
Just enough of a breeze to practice turns and learn where not to stand on the Skate in low winds.
After practicing falling of the board for about an hour things got better.
I can't wait till Gene gets a 10 to 15 day. Then I will join him on my Hobie Cat. 5 mph is just enough to move around. 10 to 15 will give is a real SHOW!
I always try to do the right thing, so I guess I'll probably join you, (maybe.)

Company coming to town this afternoon so have to stay home. The renovated foil mast is back from Miami. Maybe I'll get it wet next week.
Anyone up there yet? What's the good word on the wind?? I NEED A FIX!!

Sorry for late report -
Not much wind today, 3 gusting to 5+ mph, but had fun in the Laser. Langdon was sailing when I left, working on his freestyle.
