Alan, Peelskid, Gene, Crispy and I showed up. Gene rigged the biggest, 7.5, but eased down in the late afternoon down to a 6.0. I did 7.0, Chris his 5.7 I think and Alan and David 6.5s. Blew pretty solid 6.5.
The recent cold snap left the water a little "bitey". The air was decent at 50. Nice west so it wasn't a pain to get out of the launch. Fun, fun.
Before we went out, Peelskid threw down a bit of a challenge. He wanted a pic of a gorilla with a lollipop. Best I could do on short notice:
I stayed close to home and did my kite longboard thing at my nearby secret spot until a bunch of civits showed up. Pretty nice day. Didn't shoot any videos of that since you have already seen them, but I did capture some photons in my camera and arrange the 0's and 1's into something more easily. Well, its not a gorilla with a lolipop, but its the best I can do. You might try something like this next time you are underpowered. If it works with kites, I'm sure it would work with sails.

I'm in, I think. Looks like more of a late afternoon event. VP.
I'm good for the afternoon.

Apparently it was pretty windy up in Marietta last night
Fun day, Definitely better than learning bash scripting.

Windy with a chance of Jet engine gusts. J
