Gene & I are heading to Van Pugh. Gene says it's windy at the Lake & just stopped raining. Like your turtle, we hate to get wet before we get in the water (that photo is precious).
Sailed Van Pugh with Gene, Richard, Ed & new GI on WS SUP. Me 7.0 & Gene 6.0m. Waves of wind with lulls between made any sail in this range good for a while. Dave D. Watched & waited to launch kite. Then David W. & Scott Spreen went out for second shift as rain arrived & temp dropped to 46F. Today's sail cured my cabin fever. Now sitting by our fireplace to warm up.
7.0 at Vanns. At first it was a bit on the small side but around noon it kicked in solid. I had to go in and tug on the downhaul. Enjoyed about an hour of solid 15-25.
God bless Dave Ezzy and his sails. There were times a 4.7 would have been plenty but I never got uncomfortable.
Roger came around 1:30 to 2. I think he rigged small because it lightened up for a bit and he struggled but it picked back up and he looked well powered when I left. He had all the lake to himself and seemed to be enjoying it.
NE wind - I like to sail at Van Pugh.

Vann's Tavern.
Others likely to be at Galts.
Maybe Galts later in the day. But for now...waiting.
Micah, that's a good one.

Will be heading to Galts shortly.
Vann's 11:15. Rain has ended. Looks like 12-18 but hard to tell as the light is real flat.
I miss warm weather.
Update: pondering cranking van, turning up heat and waiting for spring. Wind is picking up a little.
And it rained and rained and rained.
