Shred Dog (S. Spreen) got there before I did. We both rigged 7.5s and widish boards and then spent the afternoon drag racing. He's as fast as ever on his new Ezzy (do I get anything for mentioning club sponsors?). Some lulls but we had a blast turning the corner above Aqualand and sending it deep offwind.
Gene went to Ben Franklin (where all the cool kids hang out these days )
It did turn out to be such a nice day, high 60s, sunny and wind fairy steady 10-20, not too much not too little.

Remind me why I went when it was 38 degrees? Hope your getting good at this dangling thing, Gene. We miss you down in the old 'hood. Don't forget your "real" friends.
I may be in for another round. Heavy training for Hatteras.
Shred Dog and I did almost an identical session except he got his new Ezzy 6.5 wet. (Shameless plug...) He's very impressed with them if it matters to anyone looking to buy gear.
Feel very blessed to get in as many sessions as we did this week in much nicer weather. No ice, numb hands/feet, etc.
