We drove up from Atlanta on Saturday. This morning we rigged our big gear and sailed until noon. After lunch we piled our Boogie & surf boards in Ted's van and drove over to the ocean side. What a blast! The ocean is still warm and the waves were good for beginning surfers. Eric & Ted had fun with wave boards & flippers. I used the 9 foot surf board that I bought from Alan Sloman & was thrilled to surf a bunch of waves standing. Love this place!!!

Wed. was epic. In the morning I was on my 5.2 meter sail & 84 liter board. In the afternoon the wind dropped & I sailed my 5.9 meter.
Thursday was a surf day. I rode the waves on the 9 ft board I bought from Alan and had a blast. Ted keeps his van loaded with the surf boards so we can drive the half mile to the beach when the tide is low in the late afternoon.
Friday was a perfect windsurfing day for everyone - sunny & warm with a side-shore SW wind. I rigged my 5.9 and sailed it until sunset with the 84 liter JP freestyle-wave board. The four of us were on the same size sail, just different board sizes. Peggy took photos. Ron cooked a delicious salmon dinner.
Saturday morning was warm & windy, but everyone was too tired & sore to sail. Eric & Ted headed home. Barrett sailed half an hour in the afternoon with Kate until it rained a bit & the wind dropped.
