Thursday 5/25 - no wind, Friday no wind- Saturday trades came back late in the day 25 mph. There was a late season cold front that created a Kona - this is the reason for no wind. When I say no wind I mean absolutely no wind and hot 89*.
Sunday 20 - 28, Monday 25 - 32, News is calling for a summit wind advisory on Tuesday. Tuesday will be our first day of sailing. Wind should be strong.
Tuesday Drew was on a JP 105 with a 4.5 rigged and I was on a JP 95 with a 5.2 rigged. Sailed all day 11 to 5. Totally worn out. Water was rough. Lots of unintential jumps and a few crashes as well. Drew is doing great. We will take a day off and then do it again. Today is Hana day.
Dave, go about a mile or so out, slightly up wind, down about 40 feet there is a wedding band, gold, on the bottum. Its mine, my wife would be pleased if you could get it for me. Have fun!!!

David - Sorry! Kona winds are very rare - at least they were on Oahu.
