The forecasts aren't super, but there may be 10-15 nw on Sat. Anyone going? I'm most likely headed to VP, early - not because the wind is supposed to blow early, but to get a parking space.

I will be out to play at VP Saturday morning too. Last week I arrived at about 9am and there weren't many picnicers out yet. Granted, it was a holiday weekend and the weekenders' schedules were probably mixed up. The shore population began to build by 10-10:30 and boaters hit the water somewhat around that time as well.
I will be at LLSC after lunch. NW has a bit of a wind shadow there, but it works fine if you can schlog out a ways. Equipe will work I'm sure. Call me if you want to go to LLSC. 404-386-8505
I may do the same - NGM MOS looks moderately promising, better late, N/NW.

Shawn,
Glad to hear you are coming. Maybe you can show me where the water mocs are hanging out.

I'll be up at Sunrise with jr. Don't have to worry about him doing a downwinder there although typically he's good about not running off.
afternoon at Gaults?
what are my chances of getting a parking spot at 11am at van pugh?
I'll consider Galts in the afternoon.

I'm heading to Van Pugh in a few minutes (10:30). Randy's already there.
Windlover, your chances for parking should still be pretty good at 11:00, but any later might be a problem.

Just got a call from Gene at Van Pugh: he says the parking lot is still empty. Lake is heavily rippled but not yet capping.
