Galts report for Monday big wind day:
VERY GUSTY!!! When I got there sometime around 2, I saw Dan was parked there but I didn't see him sail till later and Bill H. was rigging something too big. So did I. After one run we both came in and rigged down. I went from a 5.8 to a 4.8 and Bill rigged down from something big and a rip to boot in his nice sail. HE had a great session. I don't think I ever saw anyone have so many fast runs at Galts as I saw him enjoy that day. I was fine for a while but every gust of near 40 was really a kind of beating. Patrick joined us later and Dan went out again and we were toast by the end. That day the "baby pool" was for grownups only. Sorry Chris V. I didn't have a zen experience hanging on for my life, although it was tame enough at times to get close. It seems that at Galts it's feast (extreme gorge) or famine, mostly famine. I am planning to try again tomorrow (Wed) afternoon and hope it's somewhere in between.

no need to be sorry grasshopper
Galts was great Wednesday on a 7.5 - lots of sun and little boat traffic.
