Took a long shot that the east wind would fill in at Van Pugh and lucked out. Got a solid hour and a half of foiling in. Gilmer reported 9-13 and I saw an occasional white cap. Unusual weather pattern - a front was just north of Atlanta. While Lanier was getting an east, Allatoona was reporting west winds.
I wanted to share the good news with the other guests at the park but all they wanted to do was crap on my sail.

What time did you go? I went to MAP and Tidwell around 1-2 ish and never anything resembling a whitecap. Or even dark water for that matter. The east- west thing must have been in full force. Or maybe my timing was just poor. I stayed long enough to get a nice dose of pollen though.
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
From 1 to about 3:15. Little flecks of white did appear when the sun peaked through (see Gene's rules) but otherwise just ruffles on the water.
