Turned out to be a fun day. Took a while to settle in as I was using a sail I've only rigged once before. Struggled for a bit until added another inch of downhaul and outhaul which made all the difference. Water is still tolerable although air was nippy. Very solid breeze. 6.0s worked well with Stephan and Ed a half meter on either side.
Stephan, Mr. B, Gene and Ed were there. Alan dropped by but he was smarter than the rest of us and watched. Richard stopped by - not sure if he sailed at Old Federal or not.
If Barrett posts any photos of how ridiculous I looked in my bag suit or how badly I was plonking my jibes, I'm going to feed him to a pack of mangy civets.
I got a text message from my son in Guam, which is a good thing. Then I looked at the photo he sent, and you'll see why it was a bad thing to get this photo before going out on the Lake.
The wind was great, but as William said, the air was a bit nippy.

Barrett, I hope you took comfort in the fact we have no sharks in Lanier. At least we have that going for us.
btw, guess which windsurfer out today grew up near the Baltic Sea? My finger tips hurt just looking at that pic.

It's civets dammet.
I saw noticed that in the picture showing Ed's hands, too. I get cold just looking at it. Ed wins the "Toughest Windsurfer in Atlanta" competition.
Let's just say I weaseled out of Sundays sailing.
And Barrett - please no more Sea Porn on our website.

More "Sea Porn" for Randy.
